The pysche, that dimension of our humaness, which dreams and imagines and creates, sometimes has trouble crossing over from the waking world to the sleeping world.
The feeling of having forgotten something is what I am addressing.
What have you forgotten, what is valuable that is missing, what is the little cry beseeching?
In other words, you need to establish a bedtime ritual that prepares you for your night time journey. This might be as simple as lighting incense, burning a candle for a while, going over what the day has been like and what you want the night journey to be like.
We underestimate the impact of our night crossing, that is why so many people are on sleep medication.
Play with this idea and come up with a ritual of crosssing over and let us know what you come up with.
