Tate, thank you. This was a strange dream in that I was more of an observer than a participant.
The dream was so powerful and so vivid that it woke me up in the middle of the night, and I sat straight up in bed.
I immediately got up and went to sit in the bathroom to write it down, so I would not disturb my partner by turning on a light.
The first thing I wrote down were the words the old man said at the end of the dream.
I wrote them down verbatim, as they were still ringing in my ears.
Then I proceeded to record the rest of the dream while it was still fresh in my mind.
