is true then our/your unconscious would pick him out of the pool of the collective unconscious specifically for his
bigger-than-life popular cultural hero.
So it sounds like you are beginning your initiation. Maturation depends on our crossing an impossible threshold. One place we start, work on, or finish our
initiation is in our dreams. They often give us a map of the territory we are facing.
The dream is showing that you are doing well for a beginner, that you are up to the task, that you have a heoric guide, and that
trouble is all around. It wouldn't be real if it weren't frought with danger.
And then during your second dream you have the beetle show up. Sacred to many cultures you might want to check out
what it meant to the Egyptians.
I would say you are in good stead and I would suggest you read Robert Johnson's book She, or if you want to go deep, read
any of Marion Woodman's books.
