I have heard enough bus dream motifs to suggest that they present content about the difference between what it feels like to travel independently as one would in a car dream and what it feels like to be at the mercy of the public transport or the community way of travelling.
Clearly you never know where such a bus is going, how long it will take and if it is reliable. But you will be with other people and have to forfeit your own personal agenda of what taking a trip means.
