Even though it might sound a bit esoteric, a bit unusal, I am not at all certain about this 'real life' idea.
More and more I am convinced that we act out our dreams during the diurnal or daytime part of the cycle.
The nocturnal part shows us what was, is, and will be clearly and repeatedly.
The more we integrate the two the less difference will exist between the diurnal/nocturnal phases of our real life.
