I have had this dream a few times now. I dream that I go to downtown Chicago, and I am walking around. It looks nothing LIKE downtown Chicago, but I know that's where I am. It's usually dark out. Anyway, I go to the steps of the El train, but instead of the regualr wide, straight staircase, it's a yellow metal spiral staircase. As I try to climb it, it gets narrower and narrower, and starts angling off at odd positions. Sometimes it's so small that I have to bend down and climb through tight little squares to proceed further upward. There are a bunch of angry commuters behind me who are pushing, obviously peeved that I am holding them up. They're impatient with me because I haven't
